Erika Medveckaite is a specialist member of our Criminal Injuries Compensation team, helping survivors of abuse and violent crime pursue the compensation and recognition they deserve.

She understands that many people approaching the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) have already been through incredibly difficult experiences. With a compassionate approach and a commitment to clear communication, Erika supports clients through every stage of the claims process, helping them feel informed, heard, and supported.

Since joining Winston Solicitors, Erika's dedication and ability have seen her progress quickly within the firm. Alongside her work supporting clients, she is continuing her legal studies as she works towards qualifying as a Solicitor.

Notable Case Result

Erika has developed a reputation for progressing cases that have become delayed or stalled within the CICA process.

In one recent case, she took over a highly sensitive childhood sexual abuse claim that had seen very little progress since entering the CICA system in 2023. Recognising the impact that the ongoing delays were having on her client, Erika took proactive steps to move the case forward and successfully secured settlement of the high-value claim within just five months.
